Ale Roby Bed&Breakfast in Cefal?
10 October 2008We were the first to offer Bed & Breakfast in Cefal. Giovanni and Lucia are pleased to welcome you to their house and to put you at ease. We are situated about 150 metres away from the main beach and only 50 metres away from the cliffs which skirt Cefal. We are also quite close to the magnificent Arab-Norman Cathedral, built by the famous Norman king, Roger II, in honour of whom the main road of the town, “Corso Ruggero”, is dedicated.
The property is located in Via Porpora, where Rosario Porpora, a well known writer and poet of Cefal, was born and lived. In the picturesque streets of the old town, you will find a number of restaurants where it is possible to sample typical Sicilian cuisine, such as: Caponata, pasta with sardines and, to finish, a nice glass of Limoncello.
In the old Jewish quarter of the town, behind the Norman cathedral, Giovanni Cimino has opened the first Bed & Breakfast in Cefal. It is open all year round and doesn’t impose any singles surcharges. It is also possible to book short stays. Apartments and villas are also available.
All single room apartments have recently been refurbished and are equipped with tv, ceiling fan, fridge and separate bathroom with shower. The rooms are comfortably furnished, bright and have a wonderful view. Linen (towels, sheets) is provided.
To satisfy all needs, there are also bedsit style rooms available which have cooking facilities, air conditioning and enjoy a splendid panorama view from the sea to the majestic Norman cathedral.
The management offers its clients the possibility of breakfast in their rooms in Cefal or at one of the many different bars situated in the picturesque Norman quarter of the town.
NB. Guests will be given keys to their apartments and the main entrance, thus allowing return at any hour.
