Then Steve joined with Lehman Brothers investment bank, situated in Manhattan. By the extremely early age of thirty-one, he had been appointed a director. Stephen A. Schwarzman donates to a wide variety of educational programs as well as assisting as an ancillary professor at the esteemed Yale School of Management. Furthermore, he is Chairman to the Board of Trustees at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. On top of all that, Steve just last March gave the New York Public Library $100 million to support their recent building project. He also serves them as a trustee.
